Techniques & price grid

Embroidery and DTF printing: how your logo gets onto the garment

Two techniques, one price per placement. The whole grid is published below — it is exactly the one the configurator uses. Nothing is hidden behind a “from” price. If embroidery is what you are after, our dedicated page goes into the process in detail, as does the one on DTF printing. And if you already have your garments, we mark those too — see marking your own garments.

DTF

DTF transfer

Our main technique: the artwork is printed in full colour, then heat-pressed. Cheaper than embroidery, no set-up cost, ready sooner, and no limit on colours — gradients and photos included. Each piece can carry a different design: a name, a number, a first name, at the same price.

EMB

Embroidery

The logo is stitched into the fabric, thread by thread. Practically indestructible: it is the marking we recommend for caps and for garments washed in industrial laundries, where a transfer would not hold up.

One fixed price per placement and per piece. The only set-up fee is the digitising of an embroidered logo, paid once. It is exactly the grid the configurator uses.

Where we can mark, and with what

The two techniques do not work everywhere: embroidery across a large back is neither feasible nor desirable — too many stitches, too stiff, too expensive. The configurator only allows the combinations that hold up, placement by placement.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before ordering

Embroidery or DTF transfer: how do I choose?

Embroidery is stitched into the fabric: it is the most upmarket finish and the most durable — €12.00 for a small placement, €20.00 for a large one. A DTF transfer is printed in full colour, then heat-pressed: it handles large areas, gradients and photos, for €5.00 and €10.00. In practice: a small logo on a smart garment calls for embroidery; a large or complex design calls for DTF.

How big can my design be?

A small placement — left chest, sleeve, back of neck, cap — takes up to 10 × 10 cm. A large placement — centre chest, full back, front of a bag — takes up to 30 × 30 cm. These sizes cover the vast majority of logos. Beyond that, or for several designs on the same side (a sponsor plus a number plus a slogan on the back, for example), it is perfectly doable: we quote it case by case.

Are there any set-up fees?

Just one, and only for embroidery: digitising the logo, meaning converting it into a stitch file — €30.00 for a small placement, €50.00 for a large one. You pay it once, and the file can be reused for your later orders. DTF transfer has no set-up fee at all.

What if I mark two placements on the same garment?

Two placements in DTF transfer — one small and one large, typically chest and back — come to €12.00 instead of €15.00. The discount is applied automatically in the configurator.

Can each piece carry a different name?

Yes, at no extra charge. Each DTF transfer is printed individually: a player's name and number on the back cost the same as an identical logo across the whole run, that is €10.00 per piece. You send us the list, and we mark piece by piece.

I have no logo, or no usable file. Can you create one?

Yes. Tick “create it for me” in the configurator or in the quote form: a graphic designer calls you back within 24 working hours, you describe your idea, and we put forward a design. You approve a proof before any production. The design work is quoted separately, depending on the project.

Does my logo have to be a vector file?

Yes, that is what guarantees a sharp result. If you only have a JPG or a PNG, we redraw it: from €50.00, the price depending on how complex the logo is. It is charged once, and the file is yours to keep.

Can a high-visibility garment be marked without losing its certification?

Yes, provided the marking sits outside the reflective bands and the minimum areas of fluorescent material are respected. That is what we apply by default on the certified garments in the catalogue.

How long does an order take to produce?

Allow 2 to 4 working days for a simple order, up to 7 with embroidery, larger quantities or names and numbers. Urgent jobs are handled case by case — tell us the date and we will tell you whether it is feasible.

Need something outside these sizes? Several designs on the same back, a mark larger than 30 × 30 cm, an unusual position: it can be done, and it is quoted case by case. Send us the project and we will reply with a price.
