Custom clothing in Charleroi
The Charleroi area orders workwear first: construction, industry, maintenance, logistics, cleaning. These are not pieces chosen from a photo — they have to last a winter on site, go through the wash every week, and still be legible afterwards.
That is also why marking here is not decorative. A company name embroidered on a jacket identifies a team on a site where several companies work at the same time. The choice of technique is therefore decided on durability, not on looks.
Charleroi is an hour and a quarter from the workshop. Orders go by carrier, in 2 to 7 working days depending on quantity, with costs announced before payment.
Embroidery or textile printing in Charleroi: what lasts on a building site
A site outfit is washed at 60 °C, rubbed by a harness and worn every day. Embroidery survives it: the thread is stitched into the knit and does not peel off. DTF printing keeps the advantage on large backs, full-colour artwork and first names that differ from one piece to the next — and on a high-visibility jacket, it goes only on neutral zones, so as not to downgrade the garment.
What we are asked for in Charleroi
Construction and industry
Embroidery on the chest and nape, large-format DTF on the back when the name has to be read from twenty metres. Embroidery fears neither a 60° wash nor the rubbing of a harness; the transfer allows a complete logo and a large format that thread cannot reach without weighing down the garment.
High visibility
On a signalling garment, any marking encroaches on the fluorescent, retroreflective surface that makes the garment compliant. We therefore work only on zones that do not reduce that surface, and if your design does not fit those limits, we tell you before you order rather than after.
Clubs and associations
Jerseys, tracksuits, bags: personalisation — a different first name and number on each piece — is done in DTF, which handles each piece individually with no set-up cost per player. It is also the only reasonable way to handle a full team in the same lead time.
What gets ordered here
The marking price does not depend on quantity. It is the garment price that drops in steps, from 10 pieces. See the full price grid
Frequently asked questions — Charleroi
Can I have my own work clothes marked?
Yes. You send us your pieces, we apply the marking. One point of caution, stated in advance: on textiles we did not supply, we cannot guarantee how the material reacts to the press or the needle, and we are not responsible for it. On a large run, send us a test piece.
Does the marking survive industrial washing?
Embroidery does: it is thread stitched into the knit, it outlasts the garment. DTF transfer withstands several dozen domestic washes and 40 to 60°; on a very aggressive industrial wash, embroidery remains the safest choice.
Can the back be marked in large format?
Yes, in DTF up to a large format on the back. In embroidery, a large back is possible but rarely a good idea: the stitch count weighs down the garment and stiffens it. We guide you according to the material and the use.
How much does a marked piece of workwear cost?
The price is made up of the garment, shown on each catalogue page, and the marking, published in the price grid. You see the total before ordering, with no quote to wait for — and a priced quote remains available beyond 50 pieces.
Do I have to pay before production?
Yes. Payment comes before the proof is prepared and production starts: it is what lets us keep lead times short without charging for mock-ups that only serve to compare prices.
We also work for Marcinelle, Gilly, Jumet, Gosselies, Montignies-sur-Sambre and Châtelet.
