Workwear for roofers

A large logo in the centre of the back disappears behind the dorsal strap. On a roofer's uniform, we place the marking high on the back, above the harness line, or on the chest and sleeves. It is a constraint you only see once you have already marked roofers' uniforms.

The softshell is the key piece of the trade: it blocks the wind, lets perspiration out and allows you to raise your arms. A thick parka keeps you warm but restricts movement on a slope — and movement, at height, is a safety matter.

A rain jacket to EN 343 is chosen on two figures: waterproofness and breathability. A very waterproof but barely breathable piece gets you wet from the inside within an hour of effort. For physical work, breathability matters as much as the rest.
